This is Night Sky Sedations’ specialty. General anesthesia eliminates all the pain and any dental anxiety that comes with different procedures. Our qualified team develops the perfect sedation plan based on each patient’s needs and wants. General anesthesia puts patients entirely to sleep. There will be no recollection of the procedure and no pain. Once you wake up, your treatment will be complete. General anesthesia also provides pain management for more than six hours; this makes your recovery a whole lot smoother.
Oral conscious sedation is one of the most moderate options when it comes to sedation dentistry. It’s pretty straightforward and often used by dentists as a bare-minimum option. As the name suggests, you remain conscious with this option. Usually, medication is prescribed to be taken before your upcoming dental work. The sedative helps calm the patient and relieve them of minimal anxiety.
When compared to oral conscious sedation, IV sedation dentistry is a slight step up in terms of effects. Also known as twilight sedation, this dental sedation option involves administering limited medications through an IV.
